Red and calm rarely meet, but here they do. This buddha canvas painting with a red background shows a bronze-toned Buddha face in quiet meditation, set against a warm, glowing blur. Still deciding? Our Buddha paintings show what else we make in this line.
A bronze Buddha against glowing red
The Buddha is shown from the shoulders up on the left, eyes closed, with a sculpted bronze look. The rest of the frame dissolves into deep red, rust and orange, with soft circles of light like candle glow. It is a UV print on real canvas, 48 × 24 inches.
Where a red Buddha painting for living room fits
Red stands for energy and auspicious beginnings, and the dark bronze adds depth.
-
Living room: above a grey, white or black sofa.
-
Hallway or foyer: a striking Buddha face wall art piece.
-
Restaurant, spa or boutique hotel: warm and moody.
Many families hang Buddha art on the north-east wall as common practice. If you follow vastu, confirm the wall with your own adviser.
Modern Buddha canvas as a gift
It suits friends with modern interiors, meditators and anyone opening a café or spa; it is also a bold housewarming gift.

The red Buddha canvas: straight answers
Is red right for a peaceful room?
Yes. The Buddha's calm face and the soft blur keep it peaceful while the red adds warmth.
Which walls suit it best?
White, grey and beige walls make the red glow; avoid red-heavy walls so it does not blend in.
Is this painted by hand?
No. It is a UV print on real canvas, which keeps every detail crisp and the price sensible next to an original painting.
Frame or floating frame: what is the difference, and how do I care for it?
Without frame is just the print. Frame wraps the canvas over wood at the back, so no border shows. Floating Frame sets it inside a visible border on a base, for a gallery finish. Frame pieces rest on a single nail with no hooks needed, while a Floating Frame sits on two clips fixed to the wall, one at each side. Canvas cloth is not waterproof: use only a dry, soft cloth, never a wet cloth. Hang it where strong sun does not fall on it, as direct sunlight can fade the colours.
Why does it cost more than a poster?
It is a UV print on real canvas, printed fresh after you approve a proof, and it can come ready to hang in a proper frame or floating frame.
