Your card and your varmala in one teak frame

Your dried varmala flowers form the full background, deep cast in resin. The wedding card stands on one side and two photos on the other, often a portrait and a ceremony moment, with a small keepsake element in between. A polished teak (sagwan) border holds it, with hooks fitted at the back. Petals from each of your two varmalas are combined, so this keepsake holds both sides of that moment.

Hanging a wide card preservation frame

The wide shape works above a sofa, a console or the bed. Purple and maroon flowers feel rich and royal, and the teak adds warmth. Many families keep couple photos in the south-west; check with your own vastu adviser.

How your card and varmala frame is made

1. Dry the flowers. Our team explains how; with a fresh varmala, message us right after the wedding.
2. Send them. We can arrange pick-up and drop for ₹300–500, depending on location, or you send the dried flowers by courier.
3. Approve on video. You see every step and approve the design stage by stage.
4. Delivery in about 15 to 20 days from the day your flowers reach the studio, and up to about 25 days for a full varmala piece.

Our Jaipur studio has made handmade resin pieces since 2012. Each card and varmala frame is handmade, so it can vary a little from the sample, but it follows what you approve.

Card and varmala frame: questions couples ask

Will the colours change?

A little, while the flowers dry: fresh petals naturally deepen or soften in tone. Once they are set in resin, the colour does not change any further.

My flowers are already dry, or we are not in Jaipur. What now?

Dried flowers are perfect, because only dried flowers go into resin; if yours are still fresh, we explain the drying once the order is confirmed. Within Jaipur, we collect them straight after the wedding. If you are outside Jaipur or had a destination wedding, carry the flowers home, let them dry, then courier them to us. Short on time before travelling abroad? Send them fresh by bus parcel; it reaches us within 1–2 days from anywhere.

Can you fit a large or folded card?

Share a photo of the card first; the designer confirms how it fits.

Can we add a small item like a coin or ring box?

Small flat keepsakes can often be included; check with your designer.
