Roses in maroon, pink and gold from your varmala fill the whole square, with your kaleera among them. The couple photo sits in a raised inner frame, and your names are added below it. A wooden outer border holds it all, with hooks fitted at the back.

Rich maroon and gold feel festive and auspicious, and the square stands for balance. It suits the main living room wall or the wall above the bed. Many families keep couple photos in the south-west, a vastu practice your adviser can confirm.

What size is this double varmala frame?

Inside the studio: your double varmala frame

1. Dry your flowers as our team explains (fresh ones: message us after the function).
2. Pick-up and drop is ₹300–500 depending on where you are; you can also courier the dried flowers yourself.
3. Watch a video of each step and approve the design one stage at a time.
4. Receive your piece in about 15 to 20 days from the day your flowers reach the studio, and up to about 25 days for a full varmala piece.

It sits on a thick, waterproof HDMR MDF base rather than thick resin, which keeps it from bending over the years. Every double varmala frame is handmade in our Jaipur studio, open since 2012, so slight differences from the sample are natural.

What couples ask about the double varmala frame

Will the colours look the same as on the day?

Close, with a slight change as the flowers dry, which is natural. From the moment they are in resin, the colour does not change further.

We are not in Jaipur, or the flowers are already dry. How does it work?

Dry flowers are exactly what we need, since only dried flowers can be preserved; fresh ones are dried first, and we explain how once your order is confirmed. In Jaipur we pick them up right after the wedding. From another city or a destination wedding, take the flowers home with you, let them dry and courier them to us. If it is urgent, say you are travelling abroad, send them fresh by bus parcel, which reaches us in 1–2 days from anywhere.

Can the whole garland be kept intact?

That is one of two options. Garlands kept intact go into a large premium frame, sized to them, from about ₹13,000–14,000. Garlands taken apart, with every flower used, cost around ₹10,000 to ₹12,500, which is how this piece is made. Ask your designer which suits your garlands.

Is kaleera a must?

No, the design works with flowers alone.

Can we add the date?

Yes, names and date can both be added.
