Frame, lamp, clock or block: choosing where your varmala will live

Simple pointers from our Jaipur studio to help you choose with confidence.

From our studio

How to choose

  1. A frame keeps your flowers with your photo, names and wedding date on the bedroom or living room wall.
  2. An LED lamp gives a soft glow by the bedside; it plugs into a socket with the adapter supplied.
  3. A clock lets you see the memory every day; a block suits a desk, or one piece for each sibling.
  4. Keep the flowers dry after the wedding; we send drying steps on WhatsApp and a video at every stage of making.

Varmala Preservation in Resin: questions buyers ask

How long does varmala preservation take?

Usually 15–20 days from the day your flowers reach our Jaipur studio, and up to about 25 days for a full varmala.

Do I need to dry the varmala before sending it?

Yes, the flowers should be dried before they travel. Our team shares simple drying and packing steps on WhatsApp.

Will I see my varmala while it is being made?

Yes. We send you a video at every step, and you approve the design proof with your photo, names and date before we pour.

Can I choose the frame after sending my varmala?

Yes. You can confirm your frame first, or send the varmala and choose the design later with suggestions from our team.

Is cash on delivery available?

No, cash on delivery isn't available because each piece is made only for you after you approve the design, so it can't be resold. Your payment reserves your slot and your designer's time: pay securely at checkout, or on WhatsApp with a booking amount and the balance before dispatch.

Frame, Lamp, Clock or Block: Which Varmala Keepsake Suits You?

  • Living room wall: a varmala photo frame with your couple photo, names and date
  • Bedside, as a night lamp: a varmala LED lamp, a favourite first-anniversary gift
  • Something useful every day: a varmala clock
  • A desk, shelf or gift for parents: a resin block
  • The full varmala, kaleera, chooda and card together: a large 15×18 or 16×24 inch frame

Varmala Preservation Price: What It Costs

Prices start at ₹1,199, and most varmala keepsakes cost between ₹5,000 and ₹8,600. Larger or custom pieces go up to ₹16,000. The price depends on the size, how many flowers you want inside, and whether you add a photo, names, card, kaleera or LED light. Pick-up and drop cost ₹300–₹500 together, anywhere in India, depending on the size of the varmala (free in Jaipur within about 3–4 km of our studio). Every product shows its price, and custom sizes are quoted on WhatsApp.

Why does it cost more than a printed frame? Your varmala is cleaned, arranged and poured by hand, layer by layer, in crystal-clear resin, with a video at every step. It is made once, for one couple.

Varmala Preservation for the First Anniversary, Karwa Chauth and Griha Pravesh

Most couples book varmala preservation in the weeks after the wedding, while the flowers are still fresh enough to dry well. Many others gift it for the first anniversary, Karwa Chauth or the couple's griha pravesh. Sisters, best friends and parents often surprise the couple with a frame made from their own varmala.

Punjabi brides often add kaleere and chooda. Others add the wedding card, the groom's kalgi or a dupatta piece. Tell us what matters to you and we will plan the design around it.

Varmala Preservation Size and Format: What to Keep and Where It Goes

Varmala preservation does not have to mean putting every wedding detail into one frame. The preserved garland itself may be the main focus, or it can become one part of a larger wedding-memory composition. You can choose a simple 6-inch square flower-and-photo format, a 10-inch acrylic frame with flowers, petals and pearls, and larger 15×18-inch wooden-frame designs containing combinations of Varmala flowers, couple photographs, wedding cards and other wedding elements.

That gives you several very different preservation approaches. A compact piece keeps the display focused. A larger wall frame gives more room for the wedding photograph and floral arrangement. A wedding-card preservation design can retain something that otherwise might be packed away after the event. A block or smaller keepsake can work when the idea is to preserve one selected part of the wedding rather than recreate the entire ceremony.

A useful decision is to separate your memories into must-preserve and nice-to-include. The Varmala may be non-negotiable. The photograph may help identify the moment. Names and date provide context. A card, kalgi, kaleera or another wedding element can be added only when the selected format has room for it.

This approach prevents the final piece from becoming visually crowded and makes it easier to select the right size.

Pick the Format by Where You Want the Memory to Live

The same preserved flowers can create very different home décor depending on their presentation. A wall-hanging frame behaves like artwork. A compact resin block sits more like a keepsake object. An LED preservation lamp introduces illumination. A resin clock combines preservation with a practical function.

Our varmala preservation range covers all four of these formats. That variety means the display location should be decided before the final product is chosen.

A large living-room wall can accommodate a 15×18-inch preservation frame much more comfortably than a small bedside surface. A compact resin piece may make more sense beside photographs on a console. An illuminated lamp can become part of an evening display. A clock adds another practical role while keeping the flowers within the composition.

So, measure the actual place first. Then compare the available formats instead of starting with a favourite shape.

Photo, Names and Date in Your Varmala Keepsake

The Photograph and Flowers Tell Different Parts of the Story

A preserved Varmala provides the physical connection to the ceremony. A photograph gives the finished piece a face, setting and moment. Together they tell the story better than either one alone, but the balance needs thought.

Our 15×18-inch varmala frame has fields for the couple's names, wedding date, hashtag, photograph and special instructions. Other formats focus much more heavily on the flowers and use a photograph as a secondary element.

That gives you an important personalisation choice. A couple portrait can make the piece instantly recognisable. A date can anchor it to a particular day. Names can make the frame feel less like generic wedding décor. A wedding hashtag may carry the language of the event itself.

There is no need to include every available field. On a smaller preservation piece, one photograph and a short personalised detail may read more clearly than several lines of text. On a larger frame, more information may have room to breathe.

We confirm every detail with you on WhatsApp before we start.

Choosing a Varmala Format That Suits Your Flowers

Preserve the Meaning Without Treating Every Varmala the Same

Wedding garlands can differ greatly in flower type, colour, size and physical condition. That means preservation should begin with the actual Varmala in your hands, not with an assumption that one standard arrangement will work for every couple.

We offer preservation pieces ranging from small 5- and 6-inch designs to large 15×18-inch formats and more functional forms such as lamps and clocks.

The practical lesson is simple: the preservation format should suit the material you want to keep. A few selected petals may fit naturally into a smaller piece. A larger portion of a garland may call for more display area. Adding a photograph or wedding card also takes up composition space.

Before you send anything, check the names, dates and photo carefully; we share the exact steps on WhatsApp. The purpose is not to fit the maximum possible number of wedding details into resin; it is to preserve the parts that make your own wedding immediately recognisable.
