Gold toned flowers framing your portrait

Your dried flowers and gold-toned accents fill the frame around a portrait photo. Your names, with a heart, and the wedding date sit above the photo. A wooden border with finished edges frames it, and hooks are fitted at the back. Both garlands, the one you placed and the one placed on you, give their petals to this keepsake.

A 15x18 portrait frame for the living room

Gold suggests prosperity and auspicious beginnings. The portrait shape fits a living room wall, the wall above a bed or a hallway. Common vastu practice places couple photos in the south-west; check with your adviser.

Making your golden varmala frame, step by step

Drying: flowers must be dry before sending; we explain how.
Pick-up: Pick-up and drop costs ₹300–500 depending on your location, or you can courier the dried flowers to us yourself.
Approvals: a video of every step, each stage approved by you.
Delivery: about 15 to 20 days from the day your flowers reach the studio, and up to about 25 days for a full varmala piece.

A thick, moisture-resistant HDMR MDF base, not thick resin, keeps the piece from warping with time. Kavita Dadhich's studio has worked by hand since 2012, so your golden varmala frame may vary slightly from the sample design.

Golden varmala frame: your questions

Is this a full varmala frame?

No. This frame uses petals from both garlands. A full varmala piece keeps both complete garlands whole in a much larger frame, from about ₹13,000–14,000, or uses every flower taken apart for around ₹10,000–12,500.
