Eastern ink-wash art is about space and silence. This lake view canvas painting borrows that style: soft pink clouds, still water and a single pavilion, with plenty of room for the eye to rest. Our canvas wall paintings collection has close relatives of this one.
Ink-wash calm in pink and grey
Dark rocks rise on the left under a blossoming tree, while a little pavilion sits on the water below. Pink clouds drift across a pale sky and reflect in the lake. The look is watercolour and ink, printed by UV on real canvas at 48 × 24 inches.
Walls for a Chinese landscape wall painting
Pink feels gentle and warm, grey adds balance, and a long horizontal suits the wall above a sofa or bed.

Pink watercolour wall art as a present
It suits a friend who loves Japanese or Chinese design, a new couple, or a housewarming where you want something serene but not religious.

Caring for and hanging it. Frame means the canvas is stretched on wood at the back with no visible border; Floating Frame adds a border and base for a gallery look; without frame is the canvas print only. The Frame version rests on a single nail; no hooks needed. The Floating Frame hangs differently, on two wall clips placed at either end of its width, facing each other. It is not waterproof, so clean it with a soft, dry cloth and never a wet one. Strong direct sun can fade the colours, though not the canvas itself, so avoid sunny walls.
