Varmala Photo Frame: Jaimala Preserved with Your Photo

Most couples hang it on the bedroom wall, where they see it every morning. A large teakwood frame with the wedding card suits the living room. Families also order one as a first anniversary or Karwa Chauth gift. Petals from both garlands, the bride's and the groom's, are combined in one piece, with the moment that bound you together kept where you can see it.

• 8 to 10 inch round or heart: a bedside table or small wall.
• 12 to 15 inch: the main bedroom wall.
• 15×18 inch and up: photo, wedding card, kaleere or dupatta together.

Some frames let you change the photo later. Teakwood frames can be polished in natural teak or painted a colour of your choice.
